The CHICAGOLAB is an urban planning + architecture studio course running from May 16 to June 23 and is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all majors in one of the greatest cities in the United States: CHICAGO! The program is offered through the College of Architecture + Planning (CA+P) at the University of Utah in partnership with Archeworks, a multidisciplinary design school with a social agenda.
The mission of CHICAGOLAB is to develop—with students, faculty, community organizations and members—design solutions that promote sustainability, affordability, and equity in Chicago. The summer program, offers students with practical experience working alongside pubic officials, leading firms, and nongovernmental organizations, while providing the community partners with research, ideas, and plans that they might develop further. See CA+P student projects here.
