Katherine Daly earned a BA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where a primary area of interest was urban history and design. After three years working for a watershed group in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, her interests evolved to include rural development, land use and natural resource management, affordable housing, and the economic valuation of ecosystem services.
She graduated with a Master’s degree in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah in 2017. Her professional interests revolve around collaborative natural resource management, regional and landscape-scale planning, and the neuroscience of conflict. Since 2018, she has served as the Program Manager for the Environmental Dispute Resolution Program at the University of Utah.
