MCMP Students Engage Thousands of SLC Residents for Public Lands Planning Process

Community Engagement in Planning taught by Ivis Garcia: Graduate students found creative ways to engage thousands of SLC residents for the Public Lands Planning Process. Students collected 635 intercept interviews, focus groups with 52 participants, and over 3,733 responses to the digital survey in partnership with the Public Lands Division. The course alone made over 236 connections with organizations and 215 social media posts. All together this added up to 4,871 interactions.
