How did you discover urban planning?
I took a class in my sophomore year of undergrad that was called Geographies of Development. The professor saw my interest in the content and helped push me to look more into Urban Panning as a career. She introduced me to a previous student of hers who went into the profession and returned to the area to help me with any questions that I had.
If you have done an internship, tell us about that experience.
I had an internship with the USGS during my undergrad. In this internship I worked in two trace metal labs, where we analyzed mostly river water and sediment from locations around the US. I also went to Yosemite for this job to help collect samples from the field that we tested back at our labs.
Tell us one thing most people don’t know about you.
One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I am teaching myself how to bake breads and pastries.
